Social Media Management

I’ve managed institutional social media since 2008. That includes Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn. In this function, I’ve:

  • defined audience engagement strategy through organic and paid channels
  • become familiar with the use of analytics and insights to measure performance and identify new opportunities
  • implemented social media enterprise system processes
  • created editorial calendars for key themes and messaging aligned with  institutional mission, programs, and campaigns
  • tracked key performance indicators and initiated optimization and efficiency efforts
  • directed the creation, curation, and management of published content, including images, video, and copy

Currently, I manage University of Houston Libraries Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
